Original artwork description:

Red Poppies are some of my most favourite flowers. I love their magical aura. They are found in the spring time here in Canada, and I have planted a few myself in my garden.

It was the flower for the god Morpheus the god of dreams, who ruled that world of dreams.

Poppy symbolism is sleep and dreams, so it's a perfect flower for your bedroom if you are having problems sleeping.

Original art is an investment that will only increase in value over time. Plus, it really add a touch of quality to your home.

Consider this piece which won’t take up a lot of wall space, it’s 16x20" but it’s bold and bright and will compliment any room.

I love the lush beauty of poppies! This Red and Green painting will be a standout on any wall. It's symbol means comfort in times of loss, dreams and ease. Bring this soothing energy into your home. It's also a great gift for someone who's grieving the loss of someone they loved.

Expressionist and Impressionist artist used the loose brush technique, artists like Van Gogh, Freud, Edvard Munch and Emily Carr have inspired me. Plus I add my own original flair into my work. I feel that a painting has to deliver a passionate energy, and I put that in all my works.

All my work is carefully packaged, and it’s free delivery to the US and Canada. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, each piece is numbered and entered into my database so I can track it, and the number is placed also on the back of the canvas along with my signature, which is also in the front too.

I have sold art professionally for over 20 years, and my art has hung in galleries in Toronto and Owen sound, Canada.

I have Customers all throughout Canada and the US as well as in England and Panama.

“I have been watching Lydia post her paintings on fb for a long while and loved the detail and colors used, and her interpretation of the world thru her eyes...and then one not only spoke to me it looked just liked my Aunt! Quite amazingly so. So it was purchased and sent to the US post-haste and given as a gift to said Aunt and it was amazing... she loves it! Looking forward to the next purchase.”

“Our home is blessed to showcase several works that Lydia created, all of them stunning, all of them treasured. She is a phenomenal artist with a god given talent that she has honed over years as a working artist. Lydia is the real deal”
