This is no ordinary feline. Once a woman, she now lives with the gifts and burdens of nine lives—some wasted, others filled with grace.
Along the way, she’s met some intriguing characters: dogs, horses, fish, and other cats. Some are still here, some reappear, and others are lost forever. She has seen a lot in her time. There were dark times when she drifted through the universe, searching for the lost Pear.. Along the way, she even met Mr. Dark. He showed her how to see through the void.
The Cat has also seen the bright glow of the stars. They pointed her toward new paths worth exploring. In her quest, she has felt both the depths of isolation and the heights of euphoria—sometimes, it's hard to say which is better.
Among her visitors is a special fish, one of many that fly through her palace. The Cat is torn between the primal instincts of a hunter and the longing to be something more. Once human, she embraces her new powers, yet deep down, she knows she’s sacrificed something precious... Her very own heart.
