Painted on-site on Minnnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis, MN. Features a Maple tree in full autumn color with foliage in shades of cherry red, deep red, and rosy pink. The tree is complemented by a shrub below and to the right, with pink and yellow autumn leaves, evergreen shrubs below and to the left, golden autumn grasses, and an evergreen tree in the background. Painted on board with oil over casein paint. The running and dripping effects are created with casein paint, which dries to a soft, matte finish and contrasts with the oil paint. Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, with delicate lines of trunk and branches, and thickly textured impasto leaves.
Framed in a 2.5" wide wood frame with a cherry red finish and a dark, ridged outer edge.
