Pomegranate is called the king of fruits in Azerbaijan. A monument was erected to him in Iran, a stamp was issued in Romania, and in 2011 a commemorative 500 dram gold coin was minted in Armenia. On the coats of arms of some communities in France and Spain, there is an image of a pomegranate.
