Original artwork description:

In this series I come back to one of my favourite styles: minimalism.
As one Russian classic said: Brevity is the soul of wit. Take a long sentence and shorten it to two words. You will get something, which engraves into your consciousness with its force at once. Yes, you will be deprived of many tints. You might be misunderstood or misinterpreted. But if the slogan is really worth, it will definitely imprint itself in your mind.
I will not conceal that a beauty of a woman’s body is one of my favourite themes. I worship their curves, swellings and imperfections. And each time I try to express my admiration in different way.
In the same way I appreciate the works of other artists, who have chosen such theme for their works. Klimt, Schiele, Rubens, Renoir are my favourite artists.
But in this collection, or rather in its decision, I have chosen minimalism, expressed in one line and minimum of colours. I have tried to express pretty recognizable images in a most simple way.
Of course I do not claim for to something new. But what I do, I do with all my heart.
I hope you like it too.
Best regards, D.K.
