An impressionistic landscape painting, with a vibrant spring-like feel.

I just cannot stop myself painting at the moment, the intensity of our summer weather, and the absolutely beautiful days I see outside my window seem to fuse in my mind with special places I've connected with over the years. This painting is a celebration of intense high summer colour.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 25x35cm painting is strung with picture cord and ready to hang, It is unframed and has white painted edges.
