Artwork description:

The Golden Gate in San Francisco is on fire! Or it looks like it's on fire when it's surrounded by fog during a warn autumn evening, and when it's framed accordingly. It's a great metaphor of the two cities behind it, San Francisco and Oakland, so different, and both on fire for different reasons. San Francisco is the hot cultural capital of USA, smug and posh, but open and diverse. Oakland is the working horse of California, the center of attention during the days of the 99%.
This image was taken on a Sony A900 full frame camera, with a long focal length (approximately 200mm), and a long exposure of 30 seconds to smooth the mist around the base of the bridge. The red tone comes naturally from the city and the bridge lights around the Bay.

-----------------------------

All of my images are created by me: fine art prints represent the goal of my art and craft. Each print is a labor of love and a work of art that will beautify and energize virtually any space. I take extreme care in preparing each print personally, using the best imaging technology available to the best of my abilities, that I improve year after year, with the sole purpose of producing work that will delight you, the owner. My materials and techniques are gold-standard in their class and my prints are an elegant accompaniment to any home, office, or boardroom. There is a huge difference in viewing photographs on a computer display versus seeing fine art prints in person; only the prints show the light, depth, texture, and delicate nuances of my images and the materials on which they are printed.

Every image is printed in very limited runs of 10 per size, with only three different sizes, to ensure the highest care and quality in producing the print: to protect your investment, I raise the price by 10% after each sale. For your peace of mind, I carefully observe the Civil Code Section 1740-1741 of the State of California in regard to limited editions, by accounting for every image sold. Each limited edition print is also registered on Hahnenmüle’s My Art Registry () to further guarantee your investment.

I print in-house using the latest Canon PRO-2000 24" Printer with LUCIA PRO ink set plus Chroma Optimizer. I use museum quality Hahnenmüle and Canon Premium papers, the very best fine art papers on the market; each paper is purposefully chosen depending on the image to enhance its qualities. I then matte the print using Museum Grade Rag mats, 100% cotton mat board used by museums and those seeking the highest level of protection. I will also include cotton gloves to handle your print, along with my personal suggestions for framing your print, and a Certificate of Authenticity with serialized number hologram. When properly handled, your print is guaranteed to last a lifetime and more. All Limited Edition prints are hand-signed in the lower right margin and numbered in the lower left.

Guarantee: I stand behind the quality of my work. Any flawed or damaged prints will be exchanged without question. All returns must be in as-received condition and in the original or similarly durable and insured packaging. Please contact me for return details if you are unsatisfied for any reason.
