Original artwork description:

Original Chinese Brush Painting by Ilana Shechter.
This artwork is a spontaneous style of Chinese Ink Painting.

In front of a big blue-grey banana leaf, an elegant school of redfish glides merrily and freely in a stream. Different-sized water bubbles express the fish's movement.
The banana leaves are voluminous and soft, while the black bamboo leaves are strict and calligraphic.

Two red Chinese seals are used to sign the painting's front.
One reads, "If a man has seen the sea, he would not be impressed by the normal river," and the other is a seal with the artist's creative pseudonym.

This painting was hand-painted, using Traditional Chinese tools and materials: Chinese Black Ink and Chinese mineral paints on special rice Xuan paper.
