This painting is a semi abstract oil painting based on drawings and photographs within forests in North Yorkshire. The painting aims to evoke a sense of being within a forest, capturing multiple viewpoints and details including light between trees, falling leaves, tracks in the ground and organic shapes. The painting is layered tactile painting built up in oil and differing resins and mediums.
