Mixed media, acrylic paint and wood.
This work is created intuitively through a process of layering, reconfiguration, and re-painting until a kind of resolution or formal logic is achieved. I am interested in the synthesis and interplay of oppositional elements within a single image.
The relationships formed between the various elements within the work may suggest a hidden narrative or coded language.
