Cardinal on a branch, painted in an Impressionist style. This is our state bird, they are beautiful songbirds that stay through the winter. The male birds are a bright scarlet, striking all year round but especially in the snow!
This is a work on paper. The paper is 9x12", heavy acid free Bristol Board. It has been matted to 11x14" and will fit in a standard art or photo frame. Original painting, priced like a print. Signed on the front. Finished with Gamvar professional varnish for a nice sheen and protection.
