Life is made up of adventure, great emotions and philosophy. Block also manages to give her works a soul in abstraction. She loves to think about it, to move and recombine it creatively. She loves direct experimentation on the screen. Block preserves the feeling of painting until the end, as the artist lets her finished work partially disappear again in a short, spontaneous gesture. As if she were tearing open her own work with the paint. An extreme painterly act that shows the truth of natural painting to the point of fascination. This results in a liveliness on the canvas paired with an elaborate painting technique.
