This painting, titled "Red Bull", is a reflection on individuality within collectivity.
I was inspired by the image of a herd moving in unison, each figure merging with the earthy textures of the landscape — yet one stands apart: the lone red bull. That bold spot of crimson in a world of ochre and black represents the courage to differ, to lead, or perhaps to resist the pull of the crowd.

I painted this piece using loose, expressive brushwork to echo the natural movement of animals and terrain. The gold tones represent the dry heat of the landscape, while the dripping forms hint at memory and emotion — like a half-forgotten dream.
This work is both personal and symbolic. I see it as a visual metaphor for identity, instinct, and the silent power of standing alone.
