The artwork is inspired by my time spent in Brazil and was exhibited at The Other Art Fair, London on 7-10th March 2024.

Birchwood is one of my favorite mediums to work with as it showcases the delicate grains in the wood. The soft Superior Manetti gold serves as a perfect backdrop for the oil-painted blossom flowers.

The birchwood is mounted on a vibrant acrylic-painted wood board, with the botanical artwork spilling over as if it were living and growing and capturing the beauty of butterflies flitting from blossom to blossom on the artwork.
