I walked out of the Wildflower Cafe in Bellaeir after having a beautiful lunch with a friend and saw this bike in my peripheral vision. I strolled over to it and took a closer look. It was a very dreary gray color, beat up and nothing exciting as far as the bike goes. But it was on an old paved patio with a pattern of either concrete or ceramic tile pieces that made it an interesting subject. I wanted paint this now. The work was created in brilliant yellow, orange and a lavender pattern as the background with the bright tomato red bicycle in front. The painting is unframed and has neatly painted edges. All hardware is attached and the painting is ready to hang.
