Red Baron
The organically abstract figure is made from one piece of Sequoia. In 2020, I revised the earlier work from 2004 and covered it with red pigmented, unpurified propolis resin. This is the only way to perceive the pleasant scent of the resin. This also makes the surface slightly irregular and very interesting. The resin is probably water-repellent, but the sculpture is intended for the interior. The coveted propolis resin is a product of the bees. Stradivari reportedly used it to treat his violins. I deliver a polished stone slab 20x17x2 cm free of charge. I provided this with a small hole into which the wooden dowel embedded in the sculpture can be inserted. Simply leave this plate out or replace it with a base, such as glass or metal, that matches your furniture better. The sculpture is signed with my branding stamp, weighs 239 grams, height 20 cm, depth 11.5 and width 14.5 cm. The flagstone weighs 1934 grams.
