"Red Barn in Winter" is a small oil work which I painted as a demo. I had taken a photo of this barn in the spring time and I wanted to show how a photo can be just a jumping off point for a painting. I've painted this twice; Once to show what the painting will look like finished, and once as the demo itself. This is the first painting.

I primarily paint small, intimate works as they can be placed in any setting and are priced for affordability.

This comes unframed but should fit in a standard frame. One way that I often display my work is with a beautiful mat and then framed giving the piece more presence. For a more casual look I like to sit an unframed piece up on a shelf or side table. If you would like it framed, please let me know. Framing will add $110 with no extra shipping costs only with-in the contiguous United States (sorry, not Alaska and Hawaii). I'm showing what the painting might look like framed.

People describe my work as calming and soothing the soul. I hope each of my pieces does that for you.

The painting will be varnished, wrapped in waxed paper, and packing material to prevent damage. I try to use recycled materials whenever possible in shipping.

Because all computer screens are calibrated differently, colors may differ on different monitors. Most paintings have much more nuanced colors in person. I want you to be totally happy with your paintings, so of course, if you aren't, you are welcome to return it.
