Oil painting from my 2022-2023 series: "Bristol. Clifton Suspension Bridge. Avon Gorge".
Painting size: 30 (H) x 40 (W) x 2 (D) cm.
Unframed. The painting continues on the sides of the canvas.

I used impasto or wet-on-wet technique, where paint is laid on an area of the surface in very thick colourful layers. When dry, impasto provides texture; the paint appears to be coming out of the surface.

I will probably never get bored to paint this breath-taking view of Bristol: the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the symbol of the city of Bristol, and the hot air balloons over the Avon Gorge.

The painting is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity
