Hello,
This painting is an expressive and abstract work in form and colour. I have used a large canvas on which there have been successive washes of reds, blues and purples to increase the depth and create complexity in the surface.
To finish the work off, a brilliant ochre and white gash was knifed on in the barder between the two min colour zones.
This work looks best in a large space where the viewer can either engross themselves in the painting by standing close but can also view from far away to see the whole composition.
