I painted this during the second peak of covid-19 in the UK, Perhaps the vertical lines are bars in a prison cell? Or are they trees in a forest? You can see what you like in this dynamic and powerful painting. It was done over a period of days and was transformed from a simple geometrical abstract into the finished painting by dragging a silicon-tipped brush through the uppermost layer of wet red paint.
The result is an artwork that would look at home in a wide variety of settings, from a modern hotel or apartment to a period home. It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. A silicon-tipped brush was used to remove vertical lines of wet paint to reveal the paint below.
