Layering until satisfied. Whilst working on large oil pieces, the remaining colour would be used on these small works as a subconscious composition. It can be observed how the colour palette changes over months. The shapes reflect the width of the palette knife, creating uniform lengths throughout the piece. The bright palette reflects the artists’s personal relationship with colour.
