Drawing made with pencils and pastel, inspired by St. Catherine of Siena who consoles a man condemned to death, keeping his promise to stay by his side until the extreme moment. The Saint gives him a last sweet embrace with Her blessed hands and it seems that the condemned man, holding his head on Her chest, has felt a boundless faith burst forth in the depths of his soul.
