A drawing from one of the life-drawing sessions I regularly attend. I used charcoal together with white and purple pastel pencil on a sheet of white cartridge paper prepared with blue and black acrylic ink. Having to work the charcoal and pastel into the acrylic ink made me work in a more dynamic way. I know this model well and enjoy drawing her anyway, but this new approach made the 2-hour session all the more enjoyable though I felt very tired by the end!
