Artwork description:

Collagraph hand made print from a life drawing, printed on 370gsm cartridge paper. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance scrunched up paper, wallpaper, tile adhesive, torn paper. I also cut into the plate with a scalpel. I used PVA glue to stick on my textures. Pva is then sealed with shellac. The plate is then coloured with stay open inks and printed. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed. Due to the nature of this printing process each print will differ slightly.
