This is a one-off; It was a labour of love for me. I put my heart and soul into it, and it’s my version of the Reclining Buddha in Ayutthaya.
The Monks do much good work here in Thailand, and if you ever come to Thailand, call in at a temple, you would be very welcome.
Sometimes when I'm swamped, and my head is full of ideas, bouncing around trying to get out, I like to take a deep breath and stand back; these times, I want to paint or draw (Monks) in this case, Reclining Buddha, it calms me, helps, me to relax. I find it very tranquil, and peaceful and it takes me back to a time I lived in a Temple.
