I made the sketch for this painting from a Thames river taxi during a visit to London for our thirtieth wedding anniversary. The two tug boats sailing under Westminster Bridge are called Reclaim and Redoubt. It is a coincidence that I am publishing this work on the eve of the European election. This is the first Oil painting that I have completed in at least forty years, it took me much longer than I expected. However, I must say I really enjoyed making the painting as my first ever painting was in oil. The painting has been professionally framed in a blue wooden frame by Wessex Fine Arts at Lymington
