Original artwork description:

A painting of a small run down cottage at dusk on the Isle of Skye.

The cottage has stood and faced the elements for many years and it is full of the memories of the people who once lived there.
Now its time is over and it lies empty and abandoned.
It is slowly being reclaimed by nature.
I painted a dusk scene with the ebbing of the tide and encroaching sky to emphasise this thought.
A slightly different style to my usual but I rather like it.
This painting has recently been framed and is ready to hang.
