Long limbs , the knees gripping the wide chair edge. Shoulders back and head held up high. Back to the viewer. Mirroring that famous pose. Wonder what the model is thinking?

Using conte pastels on their edges the drawing developed as I observed the model. the style therefore looks like an etching, but is a drawing (and therefore a one-off unlike an etching series). Ayme was chatty and cheeky. In keeping with the pose.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if put on a complementary paper and then behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing by you.
