Original artwork description:

This piece is part of my series 'Realms' in which a blue feather is recurring, beckoning the viewer to cross a threshold and take a peek into another world.
'The Cradle of Being' was inspired by the notion we are ultimately all made of stardust. The immensity of the universe and its dazzling galaxies is reflected in the coil of the shape of a single shell.
The light background has an iridescent green/pink sheen.
