Past and present blend together in this work. Maiko is a apprentice geisha represented on the wave of cultural and aesthetic emotion generated by an ancient photograph of a postcard. The background was created with great dedication and patience in honor of japanese culture by reworking an original photographic image of the author of a glimpse of a field of flowers
Digital processing, fusing ink onto canvas, fusing with acrylic colours.
