An abstract artwork in the tradition of abstract expressionism and informal art.
The artwork is composed mainly of bright hues of blue, olive green and brown and some muted redshades. The brushstrokes are jolly and entertain a lively good mood. Color mixing happens directly at the paper surface, at the moment the acrylic paint is applied and shaped.

Rauhnächte are holy nights, in which the gates to the other world are wide open.
The word "Rauhnacht" is derived from the Middle High German "rûch", which means hairy or wild. But also of smoke; in many places the nights are therefore also called Rauchnächte. .
