Rath yatra is a Hindu festival which is celebrated all over the world but originated in Puri, India. This year due to COVID 19 pandemic it has been observed only in Puri and without devotees.

Ever heard about car festival or chariot festival or Juggernaut? All these names are related to this festival. I wanted to do something memorable about this place and I'm happy to depict Rath yatra in 2020. A festival where a million people congregate every year is how desolate this year. The three chariots of Gods are pulled on the main street of Puri, India this year only by the temple servitors. Every one is wearing face masks and security personnel are employed for smooth conduct of the event.

This year the things that interest me as an artist are the new normal❤
