Ratafia is a funny, quirky little sculpture of a kind of rat wrapped up in a dark red coat.
Part of the Ostréïdes series, which draws its inspiration from nature left to its own devices, Ratafia's body is made from the skeleton of a seedless spruce cone coated in surfine wood pulp, modelled and then painted with acrylic and protective varnish.
The tail is carved from small branch wood.
