Artwork description:

One early morning, Maasai Mara, Kenya. The wind had dropped and the birds had stopped singing. Then, there was tension in the landscape as two prime male lions appeared, walking side by side. I know the history of these lions. They look alike but they are not related, two wandering strangers who met by chance and struck up an affinity.
Whenever I see lions, I am struck by the latent power they exude. Yet the scene before me also had the potential to depict something else. I am always impressed by the bond that exists between male lions, it is as if their very survival depends on working as a team. So, I got ready for a composition to depict them as lethal partners. After one cursory and disdainful glance, the lions ignored me as I got ready to compose for the friendship moment.
This resulting photograph has been used editorially countless times but is being offered as a print for the first time. This Giclee print is a colour print made on hannemuhle photo rag 308 gsm paper which has a very smooth surface. (Giclee describes a fine art printing process that combines pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper). My Giclee prints have an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut.

Options: The print can also be made on C-Type Paper (matt or gloss), or C-Type Metallic/Velvet, or Giclee Canvas. It can also be printed at different sizes.
