Original artwork description:

In celebration of the movement to decriminalize entheogenic plant medicines, I have been painting a series of interpretive portraits of trailblazing pioneers of the psychedelic sixties. In this portrait of Ram Dass, one of the radical Harvard psychologists who espoused the catalytic value of psychedelics, but who later stressed the need to integrate visionary experiences, I show him enjoying the bliss of embracing the gifts of life and death.
