Raku torso made from our own blend of clay and homemade glaze copper oxide lustre, partially matt with a tactile experience. Fired to 1050 centigrade. Pulled from the kiln by myself and placed into a bed of straw on this occasion. I prefer to use gloves instead of tongs for speed and control.
