Abstracted impressionist landscape painting.


When it's rainy like today, I love to be outside, strange though this sounds! the jewel like colour and beauty of the world just after rain stops and the skies brighten is unbeatable. It elicits a really joyful response from me, and I love the deep colour that rain can create.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 75x75cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
