Original artwork description:

A view overlooking Uig bay on the Isle of Skye with a distant shower in the background - painted in acrylics.
A moody dusk scene with the last sunlight hitting the sea before the Waternish peninsula in the distance and split by an incoming rain shower.
In the foreground is the white painted local free church which takes a commanding position overlooking Uig Bay.
In the middle ground is the bay with pier and ferry terminal to the outer isles with Idrigill point behind.
I've painted this scene a few times from different angles and and in this case slightly smaller than usual. I feel this helps to bring the elements together tighter in relation to each other.
This painting has been painted on professional quality quality canvas is wire strung and protected with a coating of matt varnish.
