The painting inspired by rainforest in Borneo.
There are so many incredible plants - strikingly beautiful orchids, bird of paradise flowers, exotic trees, bromeliads and Amazon water lilies in the world’s diverse rainforests.
The tropical rainforest is an exciting ecosystem in itself, filled with exotic flowers that house their own supply of water, and plants that can reach up to 30 feet in height. There are some unique plants that live on the branches of large trees. The aerial plants in the tropical rainforest collect their nourishment from the air. These plants are famous for having the air roots.

Beautiful and unique piece that will compliment any home or office.


About the process:
This piece was started with no preconceived notion of how the painting would be completed. This is by design, as there is something magical about the painting being spontaneous, with only a certain amount of control over what the final result will be.


Original painting on gallery wrapped canvas.
Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch wooden frame.
Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used.
The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
The edges of the canvas are painted and it is ready to hang.
Each of my pieces has a clear gloss UV protective finish coat.
Certificate of Authenticity included.
