A colourful woodland retreat, a hideaway, a place of calm and tranquility. Sky blues fade to lush greens, lemon light shines through lighting a distant pathway. In the foreground wild flora sit together creating a rainbow carpet. Inspired by two local beauty spots, Fairy Glen and Elnup Wood, working from my library of photo reference and memory. An impressionist style packed with energy and emotion.
Painted onto Gold standard canvas, using top quality acrylics. Sealed with acrylic varnish to seal and protect the artwork.
