Original artwork description:

I often paint a background first without any idea of what I'm going to do next. After staring at this for hours and sometimes days I will eventually see something in this.
In this case it was a waterfall into a gorge and following another stay on the islands of Thailand, I was compelled to paint an image of the jungle on top of this followed by a resident oriental hornbill..I have no idea where the rainbow came from.
