Experiencing London's rain is a must! I had just enough of it on a recent visit to still think of it as romantic, in its own way. But one instant more of its penetrating chill and I'd start to see it as miserable. This sudden shower came on quickly in Mayfair and was too quick to open an umbrella. So my husband and I giggled like kids and dashed for cover. In this painting I've captured that moment, preserving the beautiful reflections and glow of the pub lights.
