From the Rain-Series. Light Watercolors, Goldpigment and Ink on Paper size 20x20x0,1 cm (the part of the painting shown in the mat).

Parts of the painting are done with goldpigment, so it will shine and sparkle if the light hits the right corner. Using gold means there is always more behind and there will always be light even when there is rain or storm. Blue is an important color to me and "feeling blue" is only one part of its meaning to me.

The painting comes unframed as a sheet of paper mounted on matte, ready to be put in any standard 30x30cm frame, the photos just show an example what it could look like in a modern wooden standard frame (the frame shown is 30x30 cm).

Collectors should choose their own matte and frame, the frame could be much larger and doesn´t have to be square, but the inner frame of the matte should be square. Black, white, wooden, golden and silver frames would look very good.
