An original Oil on Canvas by Hannah Kerwin
This painting depicts the moorland scene as one looks across the valley towards Cragg Vale, West Yorkshire. This is one of my favourite views of the area; near to where I live. The dramatic colours of the sky are echoed by the heather of the foreground and the wind blown posts give testament to the severe gales that lash the moorlands, summer and winter in the most exposed areas. This is one of my most loved paintings.
