This is the “Clownary” series that I am creating. It explores how we perceive ourselves in society and our constant efforts to be liked, not only in the real world but increasingly in the virtual one. It reflects on how social media consumes us more and more, even as it often bombards us with messages to “live your life” and “not care about others’ opinions.” Yet, you still care—you feel the pressure to fit in. And in the end, it leaves you feeling utterly shattered.
