A tribute to the poetry of Dylan Thomas and the countryside near his home in Wales. I wanted to show the reeds blowing in the wind on a blustery, early Autumn day. I have worked in a palette of umber, dark heather and Payne's Grey with sharp touches of leaf green and acid yellow to give contrast. Highly textured acrylic painting on deep edged canvas. Varnished and ready to hang.
