Inspired by a splendid 1930s 'Crown Devon' ceramic plate, this is a complex linocut with four main sections, all printed simultaneously and also consecutively. I used two separate applications of caustic soda to give the plate a textured surface.

Lino, Japanese Similie paper and water washable ink
