My friends treated me to fragrant quince. I made an incredible drink from part of it, and used part of it for still lifes. One of which is part of a series with a black matte background. Still life is very interesting because realistic and voluminous objects look even more expressive on a decorative and plastic background. Shades from lemon to honey yellow on velvety black, as well as the shiny siphon glass and super-matte background create an unparalleled contrast.
