A Van Gogh inspired sun peeks through the clouds on the steep mountainsides and coastal cliffs of California. As the cliffs meet the Pacific Ocean, the green waters and wildflowers create a colorful and mesmerizing vista. This piece is inspired by China Cove, at the Point Lobos State park in Carmel, California.

This is an original oil painting on canvas, created in Lisa's signature deep impasto style. The thickly applied and large kinetic palette knife strokes create an explosion of movement and color, which sends the eye roving around the canvas.
