I wanted to paint a landscape that can be breathed. There is an absolute beauty in being quiet. for me each time I look to the painting I take a deep breath unconsciously.. maybe this feeling can be felt by others? I don't know.
This is the most layered painting I made, with a lot of glazing and I used the most expensive pigments, cobalt violet and cobalt blue.
